What does excavation cost in Minneapolis?

How much notice does Gopher State One Call need?
At least 48 hours before digging, not counting the day you call, weekends or holidays, and no more than 14 calendar days ahead. We file the ticket for every dig.
How deep do footings go in Minneapolis?
Minnesota Rule 1303.1600 sets frost footings at 3.5 feet in Hennepin and Ramsey counties, unless an engineer designs a shallower footing.
Can you replace an old clay sewer line?
We dig the trench, often to the alley or the street with the city's permit, and a licensed plumber replaces the line.
Do you dig basements for teardown rebuilds?
Yes. We remove the old foundation and dig the new basement, with the grading and erosion control the city requires.
Can you fix water in my basement from outside?
Often. Regrading, buried downspout and sump lines and new drain tile stop much of the water. Leaks through stone joints, cracks or the floor are for a waterproofing company.
